Trees were removed on Bartlett St. many years ago by city of Oakland because they were getting too big. My moms tree was removed many years later. I don’t know why there was a delay. Now that the ground is settling, the cracks have become very severe and pose a danger to my mother who is 77 and has Alzheimer’s disease.
