Description

Poorly designed Orchard lake and Walnut Road intersection is making turning onto Mitra Ct from Walnut Lake Rd (East) next to impossible. The middle lane cannot be used as a waiting lane to turn onto Mitra Ct as it is being used for taking left turn from walnut lake road (west) to Orchard lake road. Only option is to wait in the only east bound lane of walnut lake road, which creates backups all the way to the orchard and walnut intersection. Sometimes drivers are using the middle lane of the Walnut Lake rd to wait before turning onto Mitra Ct. There is a potential of head on collision with the traffic entering middle lane to turn right from walnut to orchard lake.
This whole situation is dangerous and can lead to an accident someday.
