Description

The street light across from 501 2nd street (between Valley Dr and Ardmore Ave) has been out since October 2013. It was first reported back in November 2013, but the ticket was closed citing that this was owned by Southern California Edison (ref: Congratulations! Street Light Out (#720158) was closed by HBPUBLICWORKS). After a lengthy attempt, SCE has responded back saying this is not the property of SCE and the city/county has the responsibility (ref: SCE Confirmation/Trouble Ticket #64120).

I'm opening this issue again to try to get the light fixed. It is dangerous for pedestrians. Many use their cellphones to light up the sidewalk so they don't trip. This is a very high pedestrian area.

Please fix the light outage as soon as possible. I believe this is highly hazardous to the pedestrians walking to / from the beach and using 2nd street to go from / get to PCH.
