The building area has been fenced off, and is being demolished (finally).

A lot of blighted buildings will be torn down to make way for the Brooklyn Basin development.

It would be nice if notices to that effect were put on buildings scheduled for demolition or renovation, so we wouldn't keep reporting them to Code Enforcement.
