That's a good idea. Just ignore all the laws because you are so important that you can't possibly be inconvenienced by them.

The No Turn on Red is there becasue of the hike/bike path that intersects there. Same reason you cannot turn right on red heading South on any cross street from Metro Parkway

Leave it alone. I can't tell you how many times I've almost be run over by peaple ignoring that sign!

Sometimes a 'no-turn-on-red' sign has to be placed because of concerns at the intersection. The concerns at this intersection are with the multiple pedestrians that travel through there. It is a year-round concern.

Personally, I appreciate the people walking and riding in the area and I can put up with the slight inconvenience of having to wait a few more seconds for a green light.

i agree the sign should stay because of the bike path and pedestrians if i am not mistaken bikes and pedestrians have the right of way in michigan but they also need to be aware of vehicles approaching
some people just don't pay attention
