Not a pleasant place to drive. How about speed cameras or more enforcement here?
How about a devoted bike path running the entire length from downtown Pasadena to Downtown Los Angeles at a fraction of the cost? Everyone bike commuting will be one less car on the road and improve the Pasadena Freeway's ability to function. Lets do it!
sounds pretty good to me - can you forward this link to the la bicycle coalition so they can weigh in on potential routes?
I love the idea of the bike path. Or how about using the already great Goldline that runs from Pasadena to Downtown LA?
Sure, though Metro limits the number of bicycles to 2 per train (though no limits on strollers, luggage, or anything else really). They should be encouraging people to ride bicycles, understanding that bikes and transit are perfect for each other.
Please forward this around to your friends, we can use this issue to ask for better enforcement if enough people vote here!
Please don't ask the city to post more surveillance cameras. We do not need to request that big brother gives us more attention. think of the future not just today.
You want to SLOW freeway traffic?
NOT IN MY CITY. Get a life or better yet, take a driving course and work on your reflexes.
Are you one of those people driving in the no#1 lane?
Quick Drive Training...
- If you want to drive slow, GO INTO THE RIGHT MOST LANE. (on the 110N, it is called the #3 land, near the on-ramp)
- The middle lane (#2 lane) is for max speed limit.
- The left lane (#1 lane) is for PASSING ONLY to go beyond the speed limit.
THIS IS HOW EVERYONE IN THE WESTERN WORLD OUTSIDE THE U.S. OBEYS FREEWAY TRAFFIC. Travel to ANY city and observe.
Maybe the OP needs to drive on the freeway at rush hour. Then, you're lucky to hit 35 MPH.
This issue should be fixed now. I'll go ahead and close it.
Sorry, this issue does not have any images or videos.
