Cars still speeding on Hill Drive between Grapevine and Vista Way. I noticed new painted lines as well as a 25 painted on the street. Needs a 'SLOW' or better yet, a speed bump to regulate.

Per my comment on 7/27/20, the city said the issue, 8235028, had been resolved. But it was not, a young child was hit today. I hope I don't have to create another issue in the future for another child carelessly hit by a car when it could have been easily prevented if the City listened to our complaints. It's for everyone's safety, and now a child is suffering from being hit by a car tonight because of your lack of action.

Agree with all the comments. Huff Street needs speed bumps as well. We need speed bumps on Grapevine, Hill and Huff street.

I agree with all of the users in this thread. Speed control is necessary on Grapevine Road, specifically between Jonathan and Date. There are multiple outings from complexes that cars must turn out blindly into traffic due to all the parked cars on the street. I personally have also been almost hit dozens of times from flying cars. Please please please implement speed bumps throughout this neighborhood.

This is a serious issue on Hill Drive near Durian and Flower. People often run the stop sign at Durian and the street is too narrow to fit 2 cars at once in multiple areas, particularly between Vista Way and Lawana where there is a lot of foot traffic and no sidewalk. Adding red to any existing curbs might help but then there is no parking, so purchasing land to widen the street and add a sidewalk might be the best solution. Addressed this with deputy mayor Amanda Rigby who said the city doesn't have the money to add sidewalks everywhere since tracts were made before city incorpirated and mentioned that residents themselves could fund the projects if desired. We are right near Grapevine Elementary and there isn't sidewalk even one side of Hill in multiple places for families to walk. Combined with narrow roads with parked cars on both sides and traffic is a dangerous situation.

@CityofVista, how has the issue been addressed? Is there a public forum or more detailed response? Please advise.
