Description

Southwest corner of W MacArthur and Telegraph, the new protected intersection has a big gap in the post protection for eastbound W MacArthur and many drivers making a left onto southbound Telegraph are pulling into the bike space as opposed to around it.

The protected intersections near Lake Merritt BART dealt with this by narrowing the entrance to the protected intersections with posts, and adjusting the bikeway striping leading up to the intersection to make it clear that cars were not to merge right. I recommend the same treatment here.
