Help resolve this with a comment, image or video...No, the timing of lights have not been fixed.. nobody seems to have been there to check it out. I just went through that intersection on north Moravian and was stuck at this stupid longgggg light on red. What a waste of gas. FIX IT.

NO, I was just at the intersection today, on s. bound Moravian at 16 mile. The light is STILL timed out at 2 minutes... When is this going to be looked at? Gas is now way too expensive to be sitting idle for that long.

This light is absurd. In almost forty years of driving this is the worst timed light I have ever had to deal with. I normally go through the turn around so I do not have to sit at this unbearable light. There are times in the early morning hours that there will only be a couple of cars traveling through on 16 and the Moravian traffic is forced to wait up to 2 minutes for this light to change. At $4 a gallon gas this is criminal. Someone from the MCRC must drive 16 to work everyday!

I agree with you all. The light is far too long. I considered making a right turn and using the turn-around....but why should we have to?!! And I agree, 16 mile final product is great!!

I guess we are the only ones here that drive Moravian huh? It has been viewed quite a bit, but just a few comments. Wonder if the road commision reads these at all? It still is timed at 2 min. north and south Moravian at 16 Mile. Guess we are going to pay for more gas. Not funny!

I think the Road Commision is too busy for those of us who have complained about the light at that intersection. The Road Commision doesn't know what they are doing, I think. Why that red light at N and S bound Moravian has to be so long, is beyond me. When we are all trying to conserve and use less, just to "get by". My taxes help pay for this road upgrade, now make the upgrade work for us, get the light timed less please.

Yup just went that way yesterday - going south on Moravian - sat forever!!! Huge lull in the 16 Mile traffic but no change of lights ?? Send someone out to retime the light - lots of wasted gasoline sitting for 2 minutes.

The dumbest thing is if you arrive just as it changes it will not turn green for you even though it is green in the other direction on Moravian

Just use your brain folks. You'll never fix stupid. But you CAN beat the system. When you arrive at the intersection, look for cops. Then use your brain to determine if it's safe to go. Remember the old days when we were allowed to use our brain ?

When the road commision decides to time lights, they really dropped the ball at this intersection. Whom ever it was tried to fix it, they screwed it up worse. When there is a reason to change a light, why then does it take so long to fix? If regular drivers ie myself and others, use this particular intersection daily, can see a problem, why then does the road commision not see it? Gas is extremly expensive, not everyone is loaded with money. I have a newer car, but I still would like to conserve my gas. Sitting at this light north or south, on the red is hair pulling at best,.... 2 whole minutes. THAT IS UNEXCEPTABLE and the road commision should be sent a bill for the gas we pay. Maybe that would wake them up!

If by chance you are the only one at the intersection and you stop past the wide white line the censer will not pick you up to change sooner. Not all traffic signals have been updated or work like there suppose to.

The "programming" has become better over time, and I've found myself making peace with this expensive infrastructure, an infrastructure that is totally unnecessary as it is slowly replicating the simple "timed" intersection that it replaced. I ask you to think about this as you dodge the pot holes around southern Macomb County, and ask why that money couldn't have been better spent.
