The couches are still there... any updates on this?

The couches along with some other furniture are being used by two or more people and I believe they are living there. It is much too close to our residences and I am also concerned about fire as everything is so dry.

Public Services has been advised of this issue. We are also checking in with the PD as there is a concern that this could be the start of a homeless encampment. If so, they have a protocal to follow in abating these issues. If you see people in the area, please contact the PD to check the area --- 935-6400.

I came home from work yesterday only to find about 7 teenagers sitting back by the creek on the red couches smoking pot. They were having a little after school party back there. I thought about calling, however, by the time anyone showed up, they would have been gone. they need to be removed please ASAP! we don't always have time to call the police. They shouldn't be there in the first place.

Public Services will remove them. However -- it is important to call the PD. It takes a minute to do so - and there could be an Officer in the area that could respond quickly. Even if it takes longer, having a police presence could deter potential criminal activity. In the future, please be pro-active and make PD aware of the situation. Thank you for your concern.

The couches were moved. Thank you N Templeton for taking care of this. That area of Creekside tends to become everyones dumping ground and when one item is there, it tends to start to multiply rapidly with TV's, chairs, etc...
