Its been like that for the past 20 or more years. Bad enough there is a shrub at the corner that you are turning right from s kent ave onto indiana st. I go through were drop off & pick up area at Columbia elementary. The only reason that is a potentially dangerous is that people drive fast on the 1200 block of indiana st to avoid the traffic light on michigan & columbia. I should now becuase i live right next to the columbia elementary school parking lot. I would be surprised if the city did something about this issue.

Street Department 1 assigned this issue to Engineering Department

Something definitely needs to be done,it is dangerous. My parents live on this block. Perhaps a stop sign or just plain cutting that massive shrub !!

We need a stop sign here. Vehicles pass by in flying speeds. Extremely dangerous specially now that the kids are out of school and walk to Columbia park

Facts . Cut the damn shrub already if you’re not gonna put the sign up . It’s been 3 long years already since this request was made . GET IT TOGETHER HAMMOND !

Hammond won’t do anything especially if write a letter to the state or even to McDermott as he cares about making Hammond more tourist oriented than a normal city.
