With the addition of McDonald's, the traffic at the shopping center at Planet Fitness and Food Lion has become even worse. People are driving in all directions, creating the daily risk of accidents. The most hazardous case is people attempting to drive straight across Carolina Beach Road to access Golden Rd. Many people pull out and stop half-way across the intersection. I have seen many close-calls. Other drivers are either making U-turns to head north on Carolina Beach Road or turning left or right from Golden Road. The addition of McDonald's has made a bad intersection even worse.
