The Town of Huntington is too cheap!! Their residents, residing in the Dix Hills side, drive expensive cars like BMW's, Mercedes, Audi's, you name it. They are not concerned for other residents that drive regular cars through this road every day/every night. I have had two wheels bent and called the town to reimburse me the cost my repairs. Their response is "We don't pay for problems we are not aware of" and yet their pothole fixing crew is out on this stretch of road pretty much every week. Their idea of fixing a pot hole is to put a huge "wart of an asphalt patch" without properly leveling the pavement. Its a simple dump and jump on to next pothole technique. Ultimately what is needed is a gutter system that will take the water off this road, because they can keep repairing but the water will keep destroying.

Yes. Finally, freshly re-paved road. I am glad somebody at Huntington town hall give this the attention it required. My sincere thank you to those who voiced their concerns.
