This is definitely a problem for cars. It might protrude as much as 8 inches!

I live just around the corner from this and cannot drive my car this way anymore bcz my car is lower than average--I'm quite certain it would tear out my oil pan..or just hit the axel. I'm a civil engineer who manages water, sewer and storm systems. This sewer will not continue intact if it's not dug out and bedding replaced and recompacted soon. Then the city will have a much bigger problem on it's hands.

This is very dangerous and can cause very expensive car repairs.

This has gone on for a very long time. It must get fixed before someone is hurt in a car accident.
