Description
The PM traffic is SO bad here that it is actually easier to turn right onto Ashford Dunwoody Road by staying in the left lane and crossing over Ashford Dunwoody, making a u-turn at Ashwoody Trail and then turning left onto Ashford Dunwoody road.
In addition when travelling from 285 it is easier to use the Right Turn Only lane to bypass all of the traffic on Ashford Dunwoody, turn right into the office park, make a u turn and then a right turn back onto Ashford Dunwoody road.
It happens EVERY afternoon. Apparently they are also planning on adding another Apartment or Condo at this intersection which will only make things worse.

Okay, I understand that, however, during these peak times the travel times can approach 45 minutes/mile. One of the main issues is the blocking of intersections by cars rushing to beat a light. Please post Traffic officers at Perimeter Summit and Parkside Place as well as Perimeter Summit and Ashford Dunwoody. This should help flow somewhat.
I wonder if those millions could have been better spent on widening the road instead of those useless benches and sidewalk updates. I understand that for normal traffic the roads are fine, however, if you have to sit in that traffic everyday during your commute you would want it fixed as well. It isn't fun to realize that you could park your car and walk home more quickly than you can drive there.
