Description

The red/stop traffic signal for Hidalgo/Winsome traffic at the Chimney Rock intersection is way way too long. Is close to 3-5minutes and runs so long that during most of the day there isn’t even much Chimney Rock traffic, so Hidalgo cars are just sitting there staring into empty streets. And when it is busy during evening rush hour, the green for Chimney Rock traffic is so long that the cars backup from Westheimer and block the intersection at Hidalgo such that when Hidalgo finally gets the green light they can’t move through the intersection. sad :( Please cut the traffic light duration of Green for Chimney Rock traffic by at least half/50%. It will do no harm to flow of that traffic and will allow better more frequent mobility for Hidalgo/Winsome traffic. Thanks :)
