Description
Rats, rats, rats! Every morning (4AM to 5AM) I see several rats scampering across footpaths around Lake Merritt. Often the rats are exiting overflowing waste containers. There is never a morning when I do not see several. I don't know what can be done but more frequent emptying of trash containers surely would help.
