Description
At this location it is dangerous for more than one bike to pass through the too close posts and tricycles cannot pass at all. The modern spec is 5 feet between posts. Older trail predates current design parameters.

Reading about the coming work on lower !-40 and traffic issues related to that, if you were to fix the width of these posts (and the several others, I would be able to travel the greenway on my commute rather than interface with all the cars and trucks that are presumably going to reroute to the roads I currently use for my commute.
Also, hoping to see completion of the Greenway to the Neuse River Trail as planned.

There are two locations, this one on Rocky Branch Trail, and the other on Walnut Creek Trail.
It is hard for me to explain as there are no cross streets or road signs on the trails.
I will try to make the ride soon and take a camera and a tape measure, but I believe it is where Rocky Branch passes beneath Dawson.
The location on Walnut Creek Trail is between Rock Quarry and Rose Lane. Guessing from Google Maps, it is the water crossing near the Ralph Campbell Community Center.
Both of these locations are narrower than 43inches That absolute minimum I can fit without trying to tilt up on one whee to clear the posts and side railings. I believe the on on Walnut creek is a simple wooden post, so wrecking out the old one is a bit of saw work. I forget how the posts are on Rocky Branch; the poles might be a steel fold down post there.\
This more of a Wake County issue than City of Raleigh, but I don't know who to contact of the county - on the Neuse River Trail at the large bridge over the Neuse River upstream from Mial Plantation Road, the posts are so close and tall that I can not even lift my trike to clear them and I must take a long detour on 55 mph roads. If you can tell me who to contact for that I would be grateful.

A number of See Click Fix issues have been lost in the system and are just now being recovered. Please accept our apologies for the long delay in responding!!
This one was addressed a while back - we evaluated Rocky Branch and moved and removed bollards where possible.
