Description

The crosswalk between North and South Stanley Park is increasingly dangerous: there are close calls with cars speeding through every day.

We've been asking the city for over a year to replace with a signalized crossing (like at Spadina and Wellington / Bathurst between Niagara and Wellington).

The neighbourhood has notified the city multiple times about how dangerous this crossing is, and the police have handed out multiple tickets every time they've been at the crossing.

The upgrade is caught in red tape and is being "studied" for the 2nd time (at least).

The crosswalk is used by parents, kids, and dog owners hundreds of times a day - it's only a matter of time before someone's seriously hurt or killed.
