I live about a mile from the spot you're referring to, and have, for 38 years. No thank you. No one in Saratoga County wants the dang thing. Don't move it out of your town and into mine. I drove through Fulton & Montgomery county towns last weekend, and they are depressed and in need of an economic jolt, let's put it THERE.

It needs direct highway access and lots of space to grow. Saratoga Springs is maxed out and can not handle the parking or space for a casino.

Malta Needs This, and since they are re-doing the Exit 11 of the Northway, it would be a perfect time and a perfect place.

There is not much up here, lots of empty space and closed businesses all along Route 9.

I think they should take this under serious consideration before trying to put 3,000 extra cars a day into the middle of downtown Saratoga and the small streets of their city.

Those other counties don't have the people with the money to spend at a casino, like the Capital Region does.

Now that Saratoga Springs is off the table, Malta is the logical choice. Howe Caverns wants it, and unless Saratoga County acts soon, they will loose the casino and all the money and jobs to Howe Caverns.

I have nothing against putting a casino there, it will be a huge boost to any area that gets it, and they can handle the 3000+ cars a day and the busses, but so can we.

We have the space and the infrastructure with the new Exit 11A going in.

Tried posting, it did not go through, lets try this agian. Site must be glitchy. There is a medical arts plaza planned for where the old gas station is across from the self storage. It is a big parcel that extends from the bypass to Malta Gardens. There are a couple homes there, but they are for sale.

I'm not sure of all the details, just saw the plans today.

We could use a big box store in this space, now that a casino is not going to happen. Such a prime spot, I don't know why there is not more interest.
