Description

This homeless encampment continues to grow and spill onto 5th st. between Mandela Pkwy. The encampment poses a danger to not only vehicle drivers, but also cyclists and pedestrians. Tents, debris, and intentionally places signage are often blocking the entire westbound lane of traffic thus decreasing visibility in both directions and also the people who stay there be holding traffic by standing talking holding traffic on both lane. There is mattress, wood, pallets, Bikes, in the lanes. Pretty soon we won't be Able to drive threw there the homeless people are taking over the street and it's a very busy street. And before I forget as well to get on the freeway 880 south on the left side of the lane there are homeless people who stay there they have tall cones blocking the left lane. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ASAP thank you
