Description
Two lights are not working on the ramp to 787 North coming west from the South Troy Bridge on RT 378. At night it is so dark, you can miss the ramp if you are not careful or if you don't know the area. They have not been working for months! I have contacted NYS DOT and they told me that it is National Grid issue because they are the ones that keep the lights repaired and working but that I would have to know the pole number and the street to have them fix it. Thank you.

The two street lights that are on the ramp from 378 to 787 are still not lite as of 2/10/11.

Thanks, I will see about getting the pole numbers this weekend when I walk the bike path.
Those lights have been out for over a year now & with the new concrete barriers the exit ramp is more dangerous.

Call the NYS police and they will go and get the pole numbers. If all else fails, the Menands police dept. is also responsible for this problem and are willing to help you with this problem.

I have no way of know if the lights were truly repaired as stated in the Times Union by National Grid. I am not in that area after dark now that it stays light til almost 9pm. If someone that lives in that area could check and see if the lights are working and let us know. That would be great.
