Description

On Saturday afternoon, a pickup truck entered a vacant lot. The truck unloaded a stripped vehicle and dumped it on the property. I have reported this to Non-Emergency HPD but they have informed me that the vehicle is not reported stolen yet and it is not impeding traffic or on City property- therefore cannot be removed by HPD. Several cars have pulled into the lot to check out the car for parts and have removed more parts. Escalating this dumping now to a nuisance. Dispatch's next advise is to report it to my local storefront and communicate this nuisance to the Differential Response Team. As it is Sunday, nobody is available until tomorrow.
