Description
Water regularly stands in this area and it appears to be sinking. This obviously causes massive potholes that span the entire alley and frankly the alley needs to be repaved.
This is the alley between Division and Crystal, where dozens of trucks travel daily to service the restaurants, shops and all of the garbage dumpsters they use. Also where 1000s of people gather for Division Street fest every June. It's a shame and frankly unfair to the residents of the area that our street is the main commercial attraction to the neighborhood and yet the infrastructure supporting it is so neglected.
Please seriously consider repaving and fixing the drainage asap as this give the alley an unsavory smell, look and feel.

These giant potholes freeze into a giant sheet of ice and it is very dangerous to go out to put the garbage in the bins. I hope is that the city will fix this before someone else gets hurt. What's the point of businesses paying revenue into the city of Chicago if we don't have the tools (infrastructure) needed to do our job? Please dedicate the additional restaurant sales tax I started paying this year to fixing my alley. You can also choose to use the bottled water tax, soda tax and property tax I pay to fix my alley.
We are not asking for you to build us a pretty park bench or a flower bed. We respectfully ask that you fix our Alley so our employees don't get killed while trying to put the garbage in the Bins
Thank you muchly
