Unfortunately the city can’t do anything about it.
This is a big project being done by Eversource to update/Improve their service; this project starts in Everett , thru Chelsea and into East Boston.

I live in the area as well... Tobin bridge repairs plus this project and planes equals no sleep.

This is an eversource project and as of right now there is no official end date. We do hope that it is completed sometime in the summer.

I agree with with you. The loud banging has begun again it been going on for 45 min now. I have had bad headaches nonstop beause of this. Being stuck home in this pendemic and having a autistic son having trouble sleeping at night because of this noise is making life soo unbearable. I can understand in the day time but at night at midnight this is ridiculous. I really want something done about this.
