Description

I live at 2900 S Lakeline Blvd, Cedar Park across from the new HEBPlus complex. In addition to the added traffic from that shopping center, now about 1800-2000 apartments are being bulit right at the corner of S Lakeline and Pecan Park. When I come out of my condo complex right across from the HEB center in the am, I need to turn left but am unable to due to no light there, busy traffic for shopping center and the continual line of oncoming traffic from the Cyprus Creek direction heading to the 183N/S connections and the 45E ramp.

There used to be a left turn light at S Lakeline Blvd and Pecan Park that allowed those of us needing to turn left onto Pecan Park or to do a U-turn to get in line to head to the ramps for 183 N/S and/or 45E. some time ago that left turn light was eliminated somehow. Now it's taking your life in your hands to get the U-turn accomplished or try to directly cross the street in front of the HEB complex.

I've called, written several times to various agencies to note this. The ONLY response I've gotten is from a nice gentleman at Cedar Park who at least told me that wasn't a Cedar Park jurisdiction issue.

Can you PLEASE help us who need that left turn arrow on that traffic signal to work? I'm sure once the new apartments there start fillng up, we'll have somewhere between another 2000-3500 cars using those roads daily and it will be a major traffic jam/nightmare. Someone is going to get hurt if this isn't remedied.

Thank you,

Sharon Cabeen
