City did a great job with Midlothian Turnpike from Covington Rd to Chippenham, but did not repave the bridge over Belt Blvd. Very rough and bumpy pavement causes drivers to try to manuver around rough places.

9/16/2013 – Thank you so much for sharing your very important concern with the City of Richmond government. This situation has been formally reported to Richmond Paving Mgmt Team (20020917543) so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. Roadway Mgmt inspected this location and noted they had done as much pothole patching as possible. At this point, this has been formally referred for resurfacing across the overpass at 5000 Blk Midlothian Turnpike to offset the rough, bumpy, pavement. Because of time that may be involved with this request, updates or follow up can be conducted by dialing the Richmond Customer Care Center at 804-646-7000
