I am sure others in the area are also concerned. Neighborhood needs to get together and demand more of a police prescence and the people willing to talk to the police. Good luck!

Well, if you didn't live in the north ghetto of the area, you wouldn't have this problem. It's Mt Clemens, what do you expect? That's like saying "I live in Pontiac and it's a poophole!" Move somewhere nice and you wouldn't have this problem. I live in Royal Oak and I don't have people dealing drugs or boarded up homes in my neighborhood.

It is sad, but it is probably yours friends kids hat are causing the problem in your areas. It is a lack of having 2 parents raising the kids.

I don't live on N. Walnut St., but I do live in the area. Last summer I took N. Walnut St to go to my residence, and at Park St. there is a stop sign, I was just crossing that intersection and a young man in a suv decided the stop sign on Park wasn't for him. He came so close to my drivers door, that only my hand fit between my door and his front bumper. HE RAN THE STOP SIGN, I was already in the middle of that intersection. I was so mad, I screamed at him to put his damn phone down and pay attention. All he did was shrug his shoulders, as if to say, "Too bad." I don't care for N. Walnut, and so I go north on Gratiot to Joy Blvd. I understand what Delaundra is saying. All summer long there was groups of youths and some adults standing on corners all along N. Walnut St. Sad for the neighborhood, sad that children couldn't play outside. Where is Mt. Clemens Police? Why isn't this street being cleaned up?

your lying if you say you do not have drug dealers in your neighbrhood. I bet you do. I live in Mount Clemens and I love it. I dont live in the "ghetto". That ignorance is the problem. There are alot of beautiful homes and people in Mount Clemens. I do agree that the kids are out of control. That does come from broken home. But instead of complaining, how about being part of the solution. doesnt it take a village???? So in short do something about it or get out of "THE CLEM"

Write a letter personally to the sheriff.Take pics and let him know.Then mail copies to all the tv stations.If after all that fails. Think about your future her. You may just have to move.For you and your own children's safety.

Get the community to stand up and say enough is enough. No one wants to be victimized for reporting these people and that is understandable. However, the police can't adequately protect you if people dont band together and help the police. I suggest you get the community together and say "hey, we're not going to take this anymore". There is safety in numbers. And we, the police, want nothing more than to provide you good people with a safe place to live. We need your help though.

All the yards are always maintained.
