Description
The new plans for this intersection need to fully accommodate cycling and walking traffic as integral to the purpose.
As it stands, calling it "dangerous" for cyclists and pedestrians is a way of looking at the bright-side.

Decatur's plan to fix this intersection has long been in the works.
The issue . . . the usual, apparently: The Georgia Department of Transportation (sic) has the plans and has not OK'd nor done much with them, I hear.
This means that we'll look forward to a 2020 completion date on this fix and the one at McDonough to the west.
What is it with bureaucracies and incompetence here in Georgia?
