King County River Section has been notified of this very small log jam. City staff will continue to drive by to window survey the jam to make sure it is not growing. Wood within the river is a natural process and should be allowed to break free and deposit on the river banks when it does not pose a threat to life and property.
King County River Section reviewed the small log jam and also recommend that that it be monitored for now. They also expect it to break up but if more logs accumulate then some action may be required.
