Last week was a little over the top with the chair saving spots - but I agree with Harry. I have no alley behind my house so I need to save that spot that took me over to 2 hours (normally done twice after they plow)

I agree with the last two posts. If everyone would show the same courtesy and shovel out their OWN spots then people wouldn't have to save spots. But there are people out there that are too lazy to do the hard work they just want to benefit from everyone elses work and then the people that spent all of the time cleaning their spots end up having to clean out a whole nother spot just so they can park when they return from work. That is why we save spots.

I agree with the three posts below and if the people in the neighborhood would just learn to be ...Courteous!!! and maybe a little thing called Respectful of others...then when there are no cars on a street and the neighbors park In FRONT of your house instead...and this is All the time...After shoveling 3 hours and clearing off snow and then just finally being able to land your car in front...okay-no snow but at least leave the home areas empty when you can park at least 2 cars at your own home!! Having 3 or more cars at your home and alleys empty but all the cares on the street-- that's just Inconsiderate!! Hence---a chair.
