So shocking and sad to hear it closed , i heard Christmas Carols sung for patients here once.
Wonderful news is that Griffin Hospital has purchased the empty building. ( very nice to hear also that Griffin is not as cash strapped as we heard , and the grumbling of some employs in reference to long over due raises)
Someone has mentioned that perhaps a deep pocketed benefactor of some kind stepped forward ! ? ala the old Ryan Field a block away ( Derby grad daughter donated $) Or was it Union dues ? From a strange office far far away.
Any ideas as to what they will place here ?
Maybe a psych ward for the Elite ? Birmingham Acorn Coddlers ?
