This is more of a comment then a need for a repair. I drive north on Maple towards M 14 to work every morning and I noticed that maple is generally backed up for several miles in the morning due to the traffic signal at Miller. Whereas at Miller there are never any cars backed up at the light. It seems like it would make sense if in the mornings or during heavy traffic times the green light was extended going north south on maple to prevent these horrendous backups.
