stand in line and join the party. This is the absolute worst city for bicycle riders. You are safer on the 880. They designated Willie Stargell dr. a bicycle route, yet if you are on a bicycle when there are automobiles, and God forbid a delivery truck, you are a DEAD MAN !! this is one of the newest, but also narrowest streets in Alameda. What is ironic is there is 50 to 75 feet of dirt on the shoulder of the street. Alameda could have insisted the developer make thei a 4 lane street with a separate bicycle lane, but.....politicians..................someone got greased....................green mail ????? just saying
