There is no reason why this intersection should be No Turn On Red during the evening/nighttime hours.

All it does is make motorists wait when there are no other cars to wait for.

Electronic "No Turn On Red" signs are used with great success around the Albany/Capital District Area, and the rest of NY State should begin adopting them at all intersections where sometimes right-turns cause a safety hazard.

Waiting at this light is wasting my gas, and the gas of all the other people who have to sit here at night waiting for this stupid light to turn green in order to travel onto Route 9W. You say you want people to get better gas mileage? Then stop making them sit at traffic lights when nobody else is there!

Please install an electronic, automated "No Turn On Red" sign that turns OFF at night, so we can fix this annoyance. Thank you.
