This is more than a simple light needing fixing. DGS has to make an official request to National Grid to install one more street light at the location. Has such request been made?

Existing street lights were fixed and updated trees trimmed to improve lighting in area. After everything was complete area was reevaluated no additional lighting or repairs.

The residents were really hoping for another light. Why is that such a difficult request?

In reference to this issue and #681764, DGS has evaluated the situation and made improvements to existing lighting. However, a new streetlight is the responsibility of National Grid, and they have been notified of the situation. To follow up directly, please call 1-800-664-6729.
