I can't remember when the govt building was created nor do I know its purpose. I can say, after driving to work every morning on that road for 13 years, I've never seen anyone drive in or out of that parking lot before 7 am. Yet, each morning before 7am, I "always" get stopped there on a Red light waiting for NO ONE to drive in or out of the govt parking lot. It may be necessary to have a traffic light there during office hours but not before 7am. If anything, it should be a blinking Yellow light until 7am (or so) for those on Elizabeth Lake Rd. Maybe that will also slow traffic down as everyone races 15-20 mph over the limit around some of us to beat the Red light.
