Description
Tree and bushes have overgrown the sidewalk In multiple places along the north side of Mt. Vernon Rd. between the center of Dunwoody and Jett Ferry Rd. I'm sure this is the most used sidewalk in Dunwoody. I would recommend that the City have a crew go along that stretch of sidewalk and do a full trimming.

When items are marked 'closed' how do we, the homeowners, see what work has actually been completed to rectify the situation? Is there a way to see the details of service request # 789?
This is an major ongoing issue. Simply marking an open issue closed with no details of how the contractors who work for the City of Dunwoody either fixed or addressed the issue, or even why they chose to do nothing, makes this a system of limited value to the citizens of Dunwoody. We are paying for work to be done and expect to be provided open and transparent details of how our citizens concerns are being dealt with.
See Click Fix, as currently implemented, is only half a system.

To address the concern over issues within the City of Dunwoody submitted to SeeClickFix it is very important to take advantage of the features available for submission of issues. Properly submitted issues should include:
1. An address range from the area of submission (obtained from geolocated point of submission or manual entry)
2. A focused area which would exclude submissions that encompass entire streets, neighborhoods, or general locations.
3. A picture of the issue of concern
4. A detailed description of the issue
As we strive to better the SeeClickFix implementation we appreciate the feedback of all users.

This issue generated a work order to include the following instructions. Please help us to better define the area of concern so as to address it appropriately and quickly:
Work Order Instructions detailed "Trim low hanging branches from the North Sidewalk of Mt Vernon Rd between Jett Ferry Rd and Dunwoody Club Drive "
Please assist us in accurately defining this area.

Thanks for generating this work order.
The location you showed is incorrect. It should be "on Mt. Vernon Rd. between Jett Ferry Rd. and CHAMBLEE DUNWOODY RD.", not Dunwoody Club Drive. This is the two mile stretch between the old farmhouse in the center of Dunwoody east to the McDonald's restaurant shopping center. And the problem is not so much low hanging branches as it is bushes/limbs encrotching on the sidewalk from the side. There are places where one person can barely get by because the bushes are crowding the sidewalk. I believe a crew needs to go down that entire stretech and cut the bushes back 2 to 3 feet from the edge of the sidewalk. I know that will be quiet a task, but soon the sidewalk will be completely blocked in certain areas. And as I said before, this may be the most used sidewalk in town.
Thanks again for addressing this concern.
