I posted over a year ago asking for the bike rack to be returned to the library. In its place the City installed those 'hoops' in the brick, and all but one are now gone.
Go by the library any time of day when it's open and you'll see multiple bicycles. Can we please get a bike rack, something practical that fits multiple bikes, maybe even a 'repair stop' and air pump station (they have them all over Stockholm and they work great).

Can we not just put back the rack that was by the ramp down to the children's library? Or could we utilize the head librarians off street parking space for a really nice bike rack/shed, it'd be close enough to the building to provide power for a small compressor to allow people to fill their tires.
That one solitary bike hoop is really sad and speaks volumes about how much weight the City gives to truly useful cycling infrastructure.
