I disagree. This request is a long term solution to a short term problem. I live 1 1/2 blocks from the intersection and never see any issues there. We have a traffic light at 67th St already and that provides sufficient traffic breaks for left turns into 64th St. In addition, boat traffic is dramatically reduced outside of the summer peak season. Thus, an additional traffic light would be stopping traffic year round to solve a minimal temporary issue during the summer. Please say NO!
