Description
It is a shame how nothing is being done about the people that tend to speed on N. St. Johns Church Road going to the high school. There are no police around to patrol this area. There are children that walk to school and home from school everyday. There are no sidewalks, so they have to walk on the road. It is unsafe for children to walk to school and back home because people are careless and speed on the road. It is 15 mph, but that doesn't matter obviously. No police do anything about it. Does there need to be a death of a child for something to be done about this issue? There seems to be a death caused every few months in Hampstead because of careless drivers. After a death, that's when something is done. What can be done to enforce the issue of people driving on N. Saint Johns Church Road at the correct speed limit?

Place speed bumps in the area

It's right by the high school, so they can put speed bumps. It's crazy why they don't have speed bumps because every school normally has them. It was done half... Nothing new

This issue is still not resolved. No speed bumps or anyone regulating the speed of the drivers that come through. So sad how this has not been resolved!!!

Mini speed bumps were added by the school. More need to be put where the school zone begins because people are still speeding and children are walking to school and home everyday. It's dangerous!!
