091719 I researched property again in the Tax Record and Superior Court. The property is still owned by the same person at this time. Yard remains overgrown.

What can the city do to clear this property while they work it out with the owner (family), who live out of state or in North GA? The elderly person die several years ago that owned the property.

After 10+ years of this and the encrouchment onto my property and well-being, I had it cut. Blocking my view backing out my driveway, almost hit; creatures having a road to my roof; mites and smaller bugs infesting my yard and side of the house. My allergies flaring up. Just need leaves and debri picked up at No Charge.

Leaf/debri people just rode through and didn't stop to pick up trimmings. These are cut within regulations. Q:Are leaves the only things being picked up without being in bags/containers during this season without charge?

I know ACarter, I'm the next door neighbor. Please send me East Point policy and procedure on blight property. Our surrounding cities and counties are now making this a high P on their platform.

Will the city at least pick up the cut limbs at the curb at no charge and without being in bags? They are less than 4-5' long and thin in girth/width? Please!!!

02/18/2020 Researched property again same owner.

What is the City responsibility for situations such as this? I know and understand the property owner has not changed. Where and what accountability actions falls upon the City of East Point to the surrounding TAX payers and their quality of Life during this process. Who has the power in the elevation protocol tier to take action with results for the community. Thanks for your research and the next tier but who above can provide results besides a general response? Q: Would you be satisfied as the taxpayer who lived next door who works hard to provide, pay your taxes to the city, be a law abiding citizen and subjected to this day in and out for a decade? Would you be satisfied if this is constantly what your city officials response is to you? I have lately had an increase in callers to buy my property and stating they were informed that I might be interested in selling...wrong message being shared...not but do want the blight property cleaned up or taken care of. Don't take it but to keep it clean...these property owners are not living in these conditions where they are, why should I suffer? Citizen looking for answers but no harassment for inquiring and asking for a quality of living conditions for my home. Thanks
