Coming west on Creighton Parkway to the intersection at Mechanicsville Turnpike stop light, you have traffic backed up to make a light that stays green only to let about 4 cars to proceed thru before it turns red. The turn left and straight lane are one lane and the turn right lane is not used because the left lane is always backed. It would make better since to make both lanes be able to turn left and the right lane go straight and be able to turn right to alleviate some congestion at this intersection. VDOT needs to get off their Duff!
