Description

I realize that the repainting of directional lines on roadways has been given a very low priority by the City. However, there are some spots where the faded lines pose a serious hazard. Drivers not familiar with an intersection do not realize that a lane has been designated as a left turn only lane, for example. They drive straight through the intersection, surprising the drivers in the lane designated as straight through.
Examples are Main south at Gerrard, Mortimer west at Woodbine and Mortimer at Pape. I have had two close calls at the Main/Gerrard intersection. There are small turn signs posted but, with all the other signs posted, they are easily missed.
These are only three examples.
Thank you.
