I'm not sure what's acceptable as far as noise over meadowlark estates. As far as I know I own the air rights from the ground to heaven above my property and they haven't asked for permission to use them! While I don't hear them near as often or near as loud from inside they have made my house shake on occasion! I have called and spoken to the woman who handles complaints in the past and was basically blown off. I'll be happy to knock on a few doors if s petition will help at all. I'm listening to one right now!
Planes in residential areas can not have noise levels over 65 decibels. If you hear the noise inside your home, I'm sure the noise level is more than 65. The main problem is the number of complaints. I was able to prove the planes are in the area. I need to show the Federal officials all of East Point is complaining. They specifically look for the number of complaints received. Last year it was less than 500! Thanks for taking the time to report the noise!
