Seeclickfix apparently still can't handle issues without a street address.
This is at the entrance to the Foundry Branch Tunnel (the tunnel under Canal Road used to access the Capital Cresent Trail)
I'm pretty sure that National Park Service, who is responsible for this tunnel (and any dead animals near/in the tunnel), does not yet monitor SCF issues. You may want to contact them by email with a link to this issue.
Subject: Dead Animal Pickup Needed - Capital Crescent Trail, Washington, DC
My understanding is that NPS has the maintenance responsibility for the Capital Crescent Trail (CCT) and adjacent Foundry Branch Tunnel that provides access to the CCT from Canal Road.
There is a dead deer - several days old at this point - at the entrance of the Tunnel on the CCT side. Its producing a noxious smell and the insects are becoming a problem within the tunnel.
Back in the Spring, the maintenance staff was very responsive to requests to get the tunnel lights back on after the February storms. Hopefully NPS can respond quickly to this issue as well.
I've documented the issue on a popular site called SeeClickFix.com - the District's x311 Service uses it to get citizen reports of maintenance issues around DC. Here is a link directly to the issue page:

Thank's for the reminder - I had forgotten all about NPS jurisdiction over the CCT!
