I also have an issue with these public city garbage bins. Most of them have an overwhelming foul stink which you can smell from 10 feet away and I always find myself holding my breath when I approach one on the sidewalk. Waiting for a TTC with these garbage bins nearby is really bad, as if the streetcars are bad enough during rush hour adding insult to injury.
This is an embarrassment as we are supposed to be a clean city and I don't want this leaving a bad impression to many tourists and visitors that come to Toronto.
