Description

Dangerous intersection at the corner of S. Venice Blvd and Alligator Drive. Traffic traveling West on Alligator have a stop sign while traffic traveling on S. Venice Blvd. have no stop sign. The issue is that traffic traveling West on Alligator assume that traffic traveling on South on S. Venice Blvd. also have a stop sign. This confusion is caused by the location of the SCAT sign on the West side of S. Venice Blvd. When traveling W. on Alligator the SCAT sign appears, from the side, to look like a stop sign for S. Venice Blvd. Something needs to be done to alert traffic going W. on Alligator that traffic on S. Venice Blvd does not STOP. I almost T-boned someone at that intersection when they stopped and then pulled out in front of me. I have seen this happen numerous times. Please help with this issue.
