As of this morning, the hole keeps growing. One has to swerve to the on-coming lane of traffic to avoid damage to one's car. Those who are unaware of it take the biggest hit. I think the problem is more than a simple fill of asphalt will cure, probably why it's being avoided. A change in the painting of the on-coming lanes would help a lot. They were not correct to begin with.

Thank you for the information regarding the pothole complaint coming into and traveling in North Camden. I have seen noticeable improvement in some of our streets, and do understand that the larger issues may take longer to address- but they do keep getting worse and I worry that there will be an accident with automobiles and/or pedestrians at the 7th and Vine intersection, where drivers going south swerve into the too-wide lane coming north in order to avoid the pit at that corner.

IT’S A PLEASURE TO SERVE THE RESIDENTS OF OUR GREAT COMMUNITY.

I've been informed that it is on the priority list in the mayor's office. (issue number 22,000 and some I believe) Most of the infrastructure of the city streets is severely compromised, and I don't imagine the city has enough money or a large enough work force to attack the problem, just provide band-aids. Let's hope that some of the federal stimulus dollars filter down soon, our cars won't last much longer!
