Description

You're about to re-paint the street markings here and I wanted to suggest a safety improvement at the intersection of Mandana and Lakeshore:

There are 2 lanes on Mandana (driving toward Grand)...I'd like to suggest painting a clear guideline on the OUTSIDE of the left-hand turn lane to visually let drivers know they're in a left-turn ONLY lane.

The reason it's dangerous is, for the other lane which can continue straight...those drivers actually need to veer left as Mandana isn't straight throughout the intersection. So...if the left-hand lane drivers aren't aware they're in a left-hand only lane, it's very, very easy for the two lanes of cars to collide.

This is a very unusual intersection for the reason above -- Mandana not being inline -- so many drivers unfamiliar with the area can't anticipate this.
